Cool Mom: #MOMBRACING
Kim Kötter and Kirsten Schilder have been friends for years and were interviewed together by Kek Mama about their friendship and Mombracing . Mombracing, what is that? Mombracing is the opposite of Momshaming. There is too much judgement about parenting online. While a bit of togetherness would be a lot more fun, right? After all, everyone is in the same boat. Kim and Kirsten have known each other for about 13 years now. It was an instant 'on', according to Kim. "We understand each other, both of us musical husbands, working in the media and both now with three children. We understand all the challenges, difficulties and beautiful things that this life, as a mother and in this profession, brings with it. Kirsten is always there for me, even if it's midnight." The same applies to Kirsten: "I trusted Kim immediately and that is certainly unique in this media world. I feel safe, because I know that she is there for me, that she will catch me, guide me or support me. Despite her busy life, Kim always makes time for me."

The photoshoot for Kek Mama with 'their' six children was a dream come true. "For the first time, Nikki, Julian, Jackie, Muck, Youp and Ted are in one photo," says Kirsten. "That touches me." Kim also couldn't hold back tears during the shoot. "When the six of them were sitting on the couch, Kirsten and I looked at each other and we both burst into tears. It's fantastic to see how well our children, despite their age differences, are attuned to each other."
